Position Summary

The General Director in Gift Accounting/Processing provides strategic leadership for managing and overseeing all aspects of tracking, processing, and accurately accounting for donor contributions to the university. This position ensures that gift accounting operations align with university policies, financial regulations, and the broader goals of advancement. The director leads the development and implementation of efficient processes that support fundraising, stewardship, and donor engagement initiatives, contributing significantly to the university's philanthropic success. As a Level 3 Director, the role involves overseeing multiple teams or units with significant university-wide impact. The director is responsible for planning, staffing, and budgeting for the gift accounting function while ensuring operational excellence. Collaborating with executive leadership, the General Director establishes and drives strategic goals that enhance data integrity, process optimization, and financial accountability. This position requires a visionary leader who can manage complex operations and contribute to the institution's long-term advancement strategy.
