Annual Giving/Digital Giving secures annual gift donations to the university. Duties may include identifying, acquiring, and prioritizing donor prospects. Solicits donors through multiple channels including mail, email, crowdfunding, and telephone. Works with a portfolio of assigned donor prospects to establish, cultivate, and solicit ongoing relationships.

Position Summary

The General Supervisor for Annual Giving/Digital Giving oversees the day-to-day operations of the annual giving and digital giving teams, ensuring the successful execution of fundraising campaigns. This role supervises experienced administrative and technical staff, managing the workflows associated with donor solicitation through various digital channels, including direct mail, email, crowdfunding platforms, and telephone outreach. The Supervisor is responsible for coordinating team efforts to identify, cultivate, and prioritize donor prospects, ensuring alignment with the university’s strategic fundraising goals. In addition to overseeing staff performance and ensuring timely execution of campaigns, the General Supervisor is responsible for the training and development of team members, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to meet fundraising objectives. The position also involves providing ongoing support and guidance in the creation of personalized donor engagement strategies, tracking campaign progress, and ensuring donor data is accurately managed. By effectively leading the team, the Supervisor plays a key role in enhancing donor relations and securing annual donations to further the mission of the university.
