Position Summary

The General Coordinator for Animal and Poultry Sciences plays a vital role in supporting the management and coordination of programs and initiatives within the department. This position involves overseeing operations related to livestock, poultry, equine, companion animals, and agribusiness, ensuring alignment with the department’s goals in education, research, and community engagement. The coordinator assists in maintaining facilities, organizing resources, and supporting projects that promote innovation and scientific advancements in animal and poultry sciences. As an intermediate-level individual contributor, the General Coordinator works collaboratively within a team to fulfill responsibilities and achieve objectives. While some independent decision-making may be required, the focus is on facilitating processes, organizing workflows, and contributing to the success of department initiatives. This role supports a broad spectrum of academic, research, and operational activities, contributing to the overall success of programs designed to meet the needs of students, researchers, and the wider agricultural community.
