The agent is an educator, an information provider, a needs assessor, a problem-solving resource for clientele, and networks with the agricultural industry, specialists, extension agents, and agency representatives.

Position Summary

As a key leader, the General Director fosters partnerships with agricultural industry stakeholders, academic specialists, and extension agents to enhance program effectiveness and sustainability. They play a pivotal role in evaluating program outcomes, identifying opportunities for innovation, and implementing policies that elevate the university’s extension mission. This position requires a comprehensive understanding of agricultural science, a commitment to community engagement, and the ability to inspire and guide teams toward achieving significant outcomes with university-wide impact.
