Veterinary Sciences is responsible for day-to-day operations of a clinical veterinary teaching hospital. Responsible for activities within the clinical veterinary care unit including the delivery of veterinary care for animals. Supports teaching and excellent patient care. May participate in animal care including assisting in surgery and pre and post-operative care.

Position Summary

The Associate Clinical for Veterinary Sciences is an entry-level professional role supporting the day-to-day operations of a clinical veterinary teaching hospital. This position focuses on delivering high-quality veterinary care while contributing to the educational mission of the facility. Responsibilities may include assisting with surgical procedures, providing pre-and post-operative animal care, and ensuring the well-being of animal patients under supervision. As a key team member, the Associate Clinical professional collaborates with veterinarians, educators, and clinical staff to support teaching objectives and patient care excellence. While requiring limited experience, the role demands a foundational understanding of clinical veterinary practices, attention to detail, and a commitment to learning and growth within the field.
