Position Summary

The Senior General Coordinator for Nutrition plays a critical role in optimizing the health and performance of student-athletes by providing evidence-based nutritional guidance and support. This position involves developing and implementing comprehensive dietary plans tailored to individual and team needs, focusing on enhancing athletic performance, recovery, and overall well-being. The coordinator ensures that all nutritional strategies align with current research and best practices, while also fostering a culture of health and wellness within the athletics department. Working both independently and as part of a team, the Senior General Coordinator collaborates with coaches, athletic trainers, and medical staff to integrate nutrition into broader athletic operations. This role may include leading educational workshops, coordinating meal planning, and influencing dietary programming across various teams. Acting as a subject matter expert, the coordinator may also provide mentorship to less experienced staff, contributing to a high standard of care for the university’s athletic community. Through these efforts, the Senior General Coordinator for Nutrition supports a holistic approach to athletic excellence and student development.
