Position Summary

The Associate Academic Coordinator for Athletics supports the academic needs of student-athletes, ensuring they meet eligibility requirements while maintaining a balance between academics and athletics. This role involves assisting with the coordination of academic advising and support services, helping student-athletes navigate course schedules, academic resources, and compliance with NCAA or other relevant regulations. The Associate Academic Coordinator will also assist in tracking academic progress, identifying areas where students may need additional support, and helping to implement interventions to ensure academic success. In addition, The Associate Academic Coordinator for Athletics will serve as a liaison between the athletics department and academic support services, working closely with coaches, faculty, and student-athletes to facilitate communication and ensure that academic priorities are met. The role also includes assisting with data tracking, reporting on student-athlete academic performance, and maintaining student records to support eligibility requirements. With a focus on student success, the position requires a strong understanding of academic processes, the ability to manage multiple tasks, and a passion for supporting student-athletes in their academic journey.
