Student Athlete Services supports student athletes, coaches, and others who work closely with student athletes. Duties will also include the management of programs that support student athletes.

Position Summary

The General Coordinator within Student Athlete Services provides essential administrative and operational support to ensure the effective delivery of programs that enhance the student-athlete experience. This role is situated within the General Administration track and focuses on non-student-facing functions such as managing records, coordinating logistics, tracking eligibility requirements, and supporting compliance efforts. The coordinator works closely with athletic department staff, academic advisors, and other campus partners to streamline services that assist student-athletes in balancing their academic and athletic responsibilities. As an individual contributor, the General Coordinator participates in the planning and execution of departmental processes, contributing to the success of various student athlete-focused initiatives. Responsibilities may include scheduling and coordination of support services, maintaining accurate documentation, preparing reports, and assisting in the implementation of wellness, academic, or compliance-related programs. The role may involve influencing the efficiency of workflows or reviewing processes to recommend improvements that align with departmental and university standards. This position requires a detail-oriented and collaborative professional who can manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. By supporting the behind-the-scenes functions that keep student athlete services running smoothly, the General Coordinator plays a valuable role in helping student-athletes succeed both on the field and in the classroom. The position contributes to a supportive infrastructure that reflects the university’s commitment to excellence in athletics, academics, and student development.
