Post-Award constitutes anything related to grant management after the award has already been received. Post-award activities typically include award and account setup, modifications, financial monitoring, reporting, and billing, project reporting, and project close-out.

Individual contributors may: Coordinate, influence, or review the work of others. Be the authority on a given program or process. Lead teams. A range of knowledge, complexity, autonomy, and impact may be needed to achieve results at certain levels. Individual contributor roles are reflected in the Academic Administration, Development, General Administration, Technical/STEM, and C1-C4 of the Clinical tracks.

Position Summary

The General Coordinator for Post Award plays a key role in managing the post-award process for grants and contracts, ensuring that all activities related to the financial and administrative aspects of the award are effectively executed. This includes setting up awards and accounts, handling modifications, monitoring financial performance, preparing reports, and overseeing billing processes. The coordinator works closely with project teams and financial departments to ensure compliance with grant terms and conditions, and supports project reporting and close-out activities. As an intermediate-level individual contributor, the General Coordinator is expected to collaborate with other team members while also managing the details of post-award management. The role requires a solid understanding of grant management procedures and the ability to resolve any issues that arise throughout the project’s life cycle. The coordinator will assist in maintaining smooth communication between the grant team and relevant departments, helping to ensure the accurate financial tracking and timely completion of projects in alignment with both university policies and funding agency requirements.
