Position Summary

The General Supervisor for Post Award is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a team handling post-award activities related to grants and contracts. This includes supervising the setup of awards and accounts, ensuring accurate financial monitoring, facilitating modifications, managing billing and reporting, and supporting project close-out processes. The supervisor ensures that the team adheres to established guidelines and policies, with a strong emphasis on compliance, accuracy, and timeliness in the execution of all post-award functions. They will coordinate workflows, schedules, and task distribution to ensure efficient and effective team operations. In addition to overseeing daily operations, the General Supervisor for Post Award will be directly involved in the training and orientation of new team members, helping them understand both the technical and regulatory aspects of post-award management. The supervisor will also assess team performance, set goals, and provide coaching to ensure continuous improvement. They play a crucial role in ensuring that all post-award processes are handled smoothly, meeting organizational and regulatory requirements. This leadership role demands strong organizational skills, a deep understanding of post-award procedures, and the ability to effectively manage and mentor a team of administrative professionals.
