The General Director of International Affairs provides high-level leadership and strategic oversight for the university's international programs and services. This role is responsible for directing and managing all aspects of the International Affairs department, which includes advising international students, staff, and faculty on immigration, visa regulations, and other governmental processes. The Director ensures compliance with relevant statutory and regulatory guidelines, while also offering support and counseling on cross-cultural adjustment, academic concerns, and financial matters affecting the international community. As a senior leader, the General Director works closely with executive leadership to develop and implement strategic goals that align with the university's mission and objectives. This position oversees multiple units within the International Affairs department, managing resources and driving the department’s initiatives to support the international community effectively. Responsibilities include planning, budgeting, staffing, and evaluating programs, with a focus on improving efficiency, enhancing services, and ensuring high standards of compliance and support for international students, employees, and campus partners. The Director plays a key role in fostering collaboration across the university, working with senior leaders, faculty, and staff to ensure the seamless integration of international affairs into the broader campus environment. This position requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and organizational skills, as well as the ability to manage complex, university-wide projects and initiatives.
