Position Summary

The Senior General Consultant of Strategic Alliances is an expert-level role responsible for leading the development and execution of strategic partnerships aimed at driving organizational growth and sustainability. Operating within the framework of Business Operations and Administration, the consultant plays a key role in strategic planning, analysis, and overseeing the ongoing operations of colleges and units. This involves providing crucial reporting and analytics to support decision-making processes, along with offering project management assistance to ensure the effective implementation of the organization’s strategic objectives. In the Strategic Alliances capacity, the consultant works to identify, establish, and manage relationships with external organizations, facilitating mutually beneficial projects while ensuring that both parties maintain their independence. The position is an individual contributor role, requiring a high degree of autonomy and the ability to coordinate, influence, and review the work of others when necessary. The consultant serves as an authority on specific programs or processes and may lead teams to ensure successful collaboration and the achievement of strategic goals. As a Level 5 expert, this role demands advanced experience, certification, and education, along with a deep level of expertise and leadership. The Senior General Consultant has a broad scope of responsibility, with a university-wide impact, and is expected to navigate complex challenges, driving results that align with the institution's long-term vision and strategic priorities.
