Position Summary

The General Supervisor within Digital Marketing and Media oversees and coordinates the daily operations of a team responsible for executing digital marketing strategies across various platforms, including websites, social media, mobile apps, and email campaigns. This supervisory role ensures the effective management of content creation, digital promotions, and multimedia assets such as social videos, podcasts, customer stories, and product marketing materials. The General Supervisor is responsible for managing the team's workflow, ensuring that projects are completed on time and to a high standard. This includes coordinating schedules, assigning tasks, and monitoring the progress of digital campaigns to ensure all objectives are met. The role also involves ensuring that team members are trained and oriented to the expectations and requirements of their tasks, fostering an environment of continuous learning and professional development. In addition to day-to-day oversight, the General Supervisor will play a key role in ensuring that all digital marketing efforts are aligned with the university’s overall brand strategy and marketing objectives. This involves maintaining a high level of communication with other departments and business units to ensure cross-functional collaboration and the efficient execution of marketing initiatives. The General Supervisor will also be responsible for providing guidance to team members, offering feedback, and ensuring that all digital marketing and media materials meet the established standards for quality, branding, and messaging. This position requires strong leadership skills, as the supervisor will be expected to manage team performance, support goal setting, and maintain accountability for individual and team contributions toward organizational objectives.
