Financial Planning and Analysis analyzes and forecasts financial, economic, and other data to provide accurate and timely information for strategic and operational decisions. Analyzes the financial implications of proposed investments or other transactions so that senior managers can evaluate alternatives against business objectives. Evaluates industry, economic, financial, and market trends to forecast short, medium, and long-term financial position. Data analyzed may include revenues, expenses, costs, prices, investments, cash flow, labor market trends, inflation, interest rates, and exchange rates.

Position Summary

The Senior General Coordinator within Financial Planning and Analysis is responsible for providing high-level support in analyzing and forecasting financial data to support strategic and operational decision-making at the university. This role involves conducting complex financial analysis, evaluating industry trends, economic conditions, and other factors such as market trends, inflation, interest rates, and labor market shifts. The Senior General Coordinator works independently to assess the financial implications of proposed investments or transactions and provides senior management with detailed insights to guide decision-making. This position requires a deep understanding of financial data analysis and forecasting, utilizing historical data and market trends to project the university’s short, medium, and long-term financial position. The Senior General Coordinator plays a pivotal role in ensuring the university’s financial strategies align with both current and future needs, making this a critical position for ensuring financial stability and growth. While the role is primarily individual contributor-based, there may be opportunities to lead smaller teams or projects, influencing the work of others and mentoring junior team members. This position demands a combination of strong analytical skills, financial expertise, and the ability to operate autonomously in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
