Cloud Development is responsible for cloud adoption, developing, and coordinating cloud architecture and computing, including design, planning, management, maintenance and support, and facilitating cultural change.

Position Summary

The Analyst within Cloud Development plays a key role in supporting the organization's cloud adoption and management efforts. This position involves collaborating with teams to design, develop, and implement cloud-based solutions that meet the evolving needs of the organization. The Analyst is responsible for assisting in the planning and deployment of cloud infrastructure, ensuring that cloud services are optimized for performance, security, and cost-efficiency. By leveraging cloud technologies, the Analyst helps ensure seamless transitions from on-premise to cloud-based environments, contributing to the scalability and flexibility of the organization’s IT systems. In addition to supporting cloud adoption, the Cloud Development Analyst works closely with senior developers and engineers to integrate cloud solutions into the organization's software development lifecycle. This includes assisting in the design and implementation of cloud-based applications, ensuring they are aligned with best practices for cloud architecture. The Analyst also helps in monitoring and troubleshooting cloud applications to ensure they run efficiently and meet service level agreements (SLAs). They may assist in the automation of cloud operations, including infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and monitoring, contributing to streamlined DevOps practices. The Cloud Development Analyst also plays a significant role in the cultural shift towards cloud-first strategies. They help drive awareness and understanding of cloud technologies across the organization and may assist in training and supporting other teams on best practices for cloud development and cloud service utilization. While not expected to work entirely independently, the Analyst provides essential support in implementing cloud solutions and ensuring that cloud systems are maintained effectively. As part of a collaborative team, they contribute to the continuous improvement of cloud-based operations and help ensure that the organization's cloud strategies align with overall business goals.
