Cloud Development is responsible for cloud adoption, developing, and coordinating cloud architecture and computing, including design, planning, management, maintenance and support, and facilitating cultural change.

Position Summary

The Technical Supervisor within Cloud Development is responsible for leading and overseeing a team of technical professionals focused on the design, implementation, and management of cloud-based solutions. This role ensures the successful execution of cloud projects by coordinating schedules, workloads, and resource allocation, while maintaining a high level of efficiency and quality. The Technical Supervisor works closely with team members to ensure that cloud initiatives align with organizational goals and that cloud infrastructure is optimized for performance, scalability, and security. In addition to team coordination, the Technical Supervisor plays an integral role in training and mentoring staff, ensuring that team members are well-equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to perform their tasks effectively. This includes providing guidance on best practices for cloud development, troubleshooting technical issues, and overseeing the implementation of cloud technologies and processes. The supervisor ensures that the team follows industry standards and company policies, focusing on maintaining secure and reliable cloud environments while meeting performance and availability targets. The Technical Supervisor also serves as a liaison between the cloud development team and other departments, ensuring smooth communication and collaboration across teams. They provide leadership and direction on strategic cloud initiatives, working to enhance the team's performance, drive process improvements, and foster a culture of innovation. With accountability for the team's overall productivity, the supervisor works to address any challenges that may arise and ensures continuous improvement in cloud operations, while aligning cloud solutions with broader IT and business objectives.
