Position Summary

An Associate Analyst within the Testing discipline plays a vital role in the development and maintenance of systems by ensuring that software, hardware, and networking systems perform as expected. This position, situated within the broader Information Technology and Development and Operations teams, is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing comprehensive testing strategies and plans. The primary goal is to identify and resolve any issues or inefficiencies in the systems, ensuring the quality and functionality of products before their release. The Associate Analyst works on individual testing assignments but also collaborates closely with other teams to ensure that the entire system meets operational standards and requirements. In this entry-level position, the Associate Analyst will apply their foundational knowledge of technology and systems to perform various testing functions. This includes conducting manual and automated tests, troubleshooting issues, analyzing results, and documenting findings to improve the overall system. As part of a dynamic team, the role requires a basic understanding of software development cycles and IT operations, while also contributing to efforts to enhance the performance of installed systems. Additionally, this role provides opportunities to stay current with new testing tools, methodologies, and industry trends to continuously improve the testing process. While the Associate Analyst role requires limited experience, it offers significant growth potential, as individuals will gain hands-on experience in a real-world IT and development setting. The position is suited for someone with a strong technical background, a passion for quality assurance, and an interest in continuous learning. As an individual contributor, the Associate Analyst will work autonomously on testing projects but will also collaborate with senior team members to ensure the integration of new technologies and processes.
