Position Summary

The Senior Business Intelligence Analyst plays a pivotal role in transforming complex data into actionable insights that drive decision-making and operational improvements within the university. This position is responsible for leading the collection, aggregation, analysis, and interpretation of business, operational, and customer data from various sources. The Senior Analyst utilizes advanced business intelligence tools and techniques to develop comprehensive reports and dashboards that help departments across the university monitor performance, identify trends, and optimize strategies. Additionally, the Senior Analyst ensures that all data is accurate, timely, and adheres to institutional data governance policies. With extensive experience in data management and business intelligence, the Senior Analyst takes a proactive role in identifying opportunities to enhance the university’s data infrastructure and reporting processes. The role involves working independently to develop advanced analytics models and drive the implementation of best practices in data management. This position collaborates closely with senior leadership and various departments to understand business needs and translate them into effective data-driven solutions. The Senior Analyst may also lead or mentor junior analysts, providing guidance on analytical methodologies and ensuring the quality of deliverables. In this advanced-level role, the Senior Business Intelligence Analyst is expected to demonstrate a high degree of autonomy and leadership in managing business intelligence projects. The position requires a deep understanding of data analysis, data visualization, and business performance metrics, as well as the ability to collaborate across functions to integrate and optimize data systems. This role is critical in supporting the university’s strategic goals through the delivery of actionable insights that enhance operational efficiency, improve decision-making, and contribute to the achievement of institutional objectives.
