Educational Technology provides educational technology services to assist instructors in the sound use of technology in their teaching. Plans and delivers faculty development in response to faculty and institutional needs in a variety of formats including individual coaching, seminars, and workshops on the effective use of technology

A range of knowledge, complexity, autonomy, and impact may be needed to achieve results at certain levels. Individual contributor roles are reflected in the Academic Administration, Development, General Administration, Technical/STEM, and C1-C4 of the Clinical tracks.

Position Summary

The Analyst within Educational Technology plays a critical role in supporting the development, implementation, and enhancement of technology solutions for teaching and learning. This position involves analyzing the educational technology needs of faculty and staff, gathering requirements, and helping to implement solutions that align with institutional goals. The Analyst assists in evaluating new technologies, gathering feedback from end-users, and recommending improvements to existing systems to ensure they meet the evolving needs of the educational community. They contribute to ensuring that faculty have access to effective tools and training for integrating technology into their teaching methods. As an intermediate-level individual contributor, the Analyst is responsible for working closely with senior educational technology staff and faculty to support the design and delivery of training and development programs. These may include workshops, webinars, or one-on-one coaching, aimed at improving faculty proficiency in using technology in the classroom. The Analyst may also assist with troubleshooting technical issues, providing user support, and offering guidance on best practices for educational technology usage. While the position requires collaboration, the Analyst is expected to take ownership of specific tasks and contribute to the successful adoption of educational technology systems across the institution. In addition to supporting faculty development, the Analyst helps to assess the effectiveness of training programs and technology solutions. They participate in gathering and analyzing feedback to evaluate how well technology tools are enhancing teaching and learning experiences. This role involves recommending enhancements or modifications to the training materials, processes, or technologies to better meet the needs of the academic community. The Analyst plays an important role in ensuring that educational technology initiatives are efficiently implemented, widely adopted, and continuously improved to support the institution's mission and goals.
