Position Summary

The Analyst within Instructional Design plays a pivotal role in supporting the design and development of instructional content that enhances learning experiences at the university. This position works with instructional designers, subject matter experts, and business management to gather and analyze learner needs, ensuring that training materials and courses align with institutional goals. The Analyst helps develop and implement online courses, web-based training, and in-person curriculum, contributing to the overall effectiveness of educational programs by ensuring they meet the needs of faculty, staff, and students. In this role, the Analyst participates in the creation and evaluation of instructional materials, including developing course content and learning resources that utilize emerging educational technologies. They assist in integrating instructional design principles into the development process, ensuring that all learning materials are accessible, engaging, and aligned with best practices. The Analyst will also assist in evaluating the effectiveness of training programs through learner assessments and feedback, identifying opportunities for content improvements and ensuring that instructional goals are met. As an individual contributor, the Analyst is expected to take ownership of specific aspects of instructional design projects, such as content creation or technology integration, with guidance from senior instructional designers. The position requires strong collaboration and communication skills, as the Analyst will frequently interact with cross-functional teams. While the role is intermediate and does not require full independence, it offers an opportunity for growth in instructional design, providing hands-on experience with a variety of educational technologies and methodologies.
