Utilizes server-side, client-side, and database tools. Creates websites from concept to finished product. Optimizes performance, security, and scalability.

Position Summary

The Senior Analyst within Web Development and Design is a key contributor to the development and enhancement of the university's digital presence. With advanced technical expertise, this role is responsible for leading and executing complex web development projects, ensuring that websites are visually appealing, functional, and meet the needs of faculty, staff, students, and external stakeholders. The Senior Analyst collaborates with cross-functional teams to conceptualize, design, and implement websites from concept to completion, utilizing a combination of server-side, client-side, and database technologies. Their work focuses on optimizing performance, security, scalability, and usability to ensure high-quality user experiences across a variety of platforms and devices. As a senior member of the team, the analyst independently manages web development tasks and offers technical guidance to junior team members. They lead efforts in troubleshooting and resolving complex issues related to web development and design, including performance bottlenecks, security vulnerabilities, and compatibility issues. The Senior Analyst also takes the lead in implementing new tools, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve the university's web infrastructure. They provide strategic insights on web design trends and help ensure that all web development projects align with organizational goals and standards. In addition to their technical contributions, the Senior Analyst plays a role in mentoring and coordinating with other team members, fostering a collaborative environment. They are responsible for reviewing and validating the work of junior analysts and may also be involved in project management tasks, such as setting timelines, tracking progress, and ensuring that deliverables are completed on schedule. The Senior Analyst also works closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, recommend solutions, and ensure that web solutions align with broader institutional objectives. Through their independent work and leadership, the Senior Analyst contributes to the overall success of the web development team and the university's online presence.
