Compliance Services ensures the universitys compliance with regulatory and quality standards and fosters a culture of integrity. Works with colleges and units to develop and implement internal controls, processes, and programs that access and enhance compliance. May engage with regulatory commissions and authorities or advance university positions with external and internal stakeholders.

They are responsible for administrative oversight of individuals, including conducting recommendations for hiring and termination, writing evaluations, disciplinary actions, day-to-day oversight as well as long-term goal setting and accountability for the performance and productivity of the employees. This position combines technical expertise with managerial responsibilities, directing the team to develop, implement, and optimize internal controls, processes, and compliance programs. The Technical Manager ensures that the team works efficiently to enhance compliance infrastructure, employing technical tools and systems to streamline compliance processes and address challenges. The role requires balancing leadership with hands-on technical involvement, ensuring both the operational and regulatory success of the compliance services. In this managerial position, the Technical Manager is accountable for setting the strategic goals of the team, aligning them with the broader compliance objectives of the university. They supervise a team of technical professionals, providing day-to-day guidance, assigning tasks, and ensuring the timely execution of projects. The Technical Manager is responsible for managing team performance, conducting evaluations, and providing mentorship to foster professional growth. They also play a key role in resource allocation and problem-solving, ensuring that the team has the necessary tools, training, and support to meet their compliance goals. The Technical Manager works closely with various departments and external stakeholders, ensuring that the university’s compliance strategies are aligned with evolving regulatory requirements. They lead the development and implementation of compliance-related technology solutions, leveraging their technical expertise to improve compliance workflows and data management. Additionally, the Technical Manager collaborates with other units, ensuring that internal controls and compliance programs are integrated effectively across the institution. By managing a dynamic team, this role fosters a culture of integrity and compliance within the university, contributing to the overall success and sustainability of its regulatory programs.
