Legal & Compliance: Legal and Compliance provides advisory services including advice on matters concerning the rights, obligations, and privileges of the organization. Represents the organization to government agencies, suppliers, and other stakeholders. Ensures the organization fosters a culture of compliance and integrity.

Equity & Accessibility: Equity and Accessibility provides consultation to faculty, staff, and students on matters relating to the universitys policies prohibiting discrimination and harassment. Responsible for determining reasonable accommodations in university programs and coordinating accommodations services like note taking, alternate text requests, and furniture coordination.

Affirmative Action: Affirmative Action is responsible for the universitys affirmative action programs, which include implementing audit programs to ensure compliance with equal employment opportunity laws and affirmative action regulations.

General Administration: Roles that are in administrative/ professional non-student facing functions.

Management / Leadership: Manager: The positions work is achieved through the direction of others. Managers have direct accountability for setting goals and using resources. They are responsible for administrative oversight of individuals, including conducting recommendations for hiring and termination, writing evaluations, disciplinary actions, day-to-day oversight as well as long-term goal setting and accountability for the performance and productivity of the employees. Managerial positions are reflected in the M1-M3 career track levels in the management/leadership track.

Level 2: Intermediate: These positions require some experience and education but are not expected to act independently.
