Program Management is responsible for the oversight of the planning, execution, and success of the program. Typical duties include program planning and development, program evaluation, policy development and analysis, and coordination of resources.

Individual contributor roles are reflected in the Academic Administration, Development, General Administration, Technical/STEM, and C1-C4 of the Clinical tracks.

Position Summary

The Academic Coordinator within Program Management is responsible for supporting the planning, execution, and evaluation of academic programs that align with the university’s strategic goals. In this role, the coordinator works with academic departments and other stakeholders to ensure that programs are well-organized and meet defined objectives. They play a crucial role in managing the logistics of program development, assisting in policy analysis and development, and helping to ensure that academic programs are implemented effectively and efficiently. The Academic Coordinator ensures that programs run smoothly, addressing any challenges or issues that arise during implementation. This position requires the coordinator to work closely with various academic teams and support staff to manage resources and facilitate communication across departments. They assist in the development of program materials, track progress against goals, and help with the evaluation of program outcomes. The coordinator may also support the assessment of program effectiveness, providing data and insights to help shape future program decisions. They work collaboratively with faculty, administrators, and staff to ensure that academic initiatives are in line with institutional priorities and meet student needs. As an individual contributor in an intermediate-level role, the Academic Coordinator applies their experience and knowledge to coordinate projects, contribute to decision-making processes, and help lead academic initiatives. While they may not have full autonomy, they are responsible for driving specific program tasks and collaborating with others to achieve successful outcomes. The position requires a balance of project management skills, academic understanding, and the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders, all while ensuring that the program's objectives are aligned with the institution’s overall goals.
