Position Summary

The Senior General Coordinator within Program Management plays a key role in overseeing the planning, execution, and successful completion of programs that align with the university’s strategic goals. This senior-level position requires a deep understanding of program management, along with the ability to manage complex initiatives that may involve multiple teams and departments. The Senior General Coordinator provides leadership, supports program planning and development, and ensures the efficient use of resources to meet program objectives. They are responsible for analyzing program outcomes and making data-driven recommendations to enhance overall program effectiveness. In this role, the Senior General Coordinator works independently to manage various aspects of program management, including the evaluation and refinement of programs, policy development, and resource coordination. They collaborate with senior leadership and other stakeholders to align programs with the university’s broader strategic objectives. This position also involves overseeing program progress, ensuring that milestones are met, and addressing challenges that arise during program execution. They may be responsible for leading cross-functional teams and mentoring junior staff, ensuring that team members are well-equipped to contribute to program goals. As an individual contributor, the Senior General Coordinator has the autonomy to influence key decisions related to program strategies, timelines, and execution. They have a strong leadership presence, guiding teams and ensuring that the programs they oversee are completed successfully and on schedule. The role requires the ability to assess complex situations, develop innovative solutions, and make decisions that impact the long-term success of the university’s programs.
