Position Summary

The Associate Academic Coordinator within Academic Affairs plays a key role in supporting the administration and implementation of academic programs and services that help students succeed throughout their academic journey. This position contributes to the development and execution of student-focused programs designed to enhance academic and life skills. These programs may include first-year experience initiatives, tutoring services, skills workshops, and other student development opportunities aimed at fostering academic success. The Associate Academic Coordinator works closely with faculty, staff, and students to ensure these programs are accessible, effective, and aligned with the university’s mission to support student achievement. In this role, the Associate Academic Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the daily operations of academic programs, assisting with the planning and execution of student services, and contributing to the creation of learning support materials. They may collaborate with other departments within Student Services to promote academic engagement and student retention. The position also involves assisting with the assessment and evaluation of program effectiveness, ensuring that students' needs are met, and providing reports to inform the continuous improvement of services. The Associate Academic Coordinator may be the primary point of contact for students seeking academic advice or support, and they are expected to foster a positive and supportive environment for student success.
