Position Summary

The Academic Supervisor within Admissions plays a key role in overseeing day-to-day operations related to the evaluation and processing of student applications. This position supports the university’s enrollment goals by managing a team of admissions professionals who assess application materials, verify academic credentials, and ensure timely communication with prospective students. The supervisor ensures that admissions processes align with institutional policies and that staff are well-informed and trained in current procedures and compliance standards. In this role, the supervisor coordinates workflow, assigns duties, and ensures the team meets critical deadlines during peak admissions cycles. They serve as a resource for resolving escalated issues, implementing process improvements, and maintaining accurate documentation related to recruitment and admissions activities. The supervisor also plays an active role in onboarding new staff, conducting performance evaluations, and identifying professional development opportunities to support individual and team growth. The Academic Supervisor collaborates closely with colleagues across Enrollment Services and Student Services to support student recruitment efforts and contribute to a seamless application experience. This position requires strong communication and organizational skills, a commitment to student service, and the ability to lead a team effectively in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
