Enrollment Services is responsible for student recruiting programs, pre-application and pre-admission, and related processes at the university. These roles develop, implement, and administer plans, programs, and events for general and targeted student recruitment in support of organizational goals.

Position Summary

The Senior Academic Coordinator within Enrollment Services is a key individual contributor responsible for leading and coordinating various recruitment and admissions-related activities to support the university's enrollment goals. This position works independently to oversee the development, execution, and evaluation of programs, events, and initiatives that attract a diverse and qualified student body. The Senior Academic Coordinator will be instrumental in ensuring that the recruitment process is efficient, effective, and aligned with the university’s mission and strategic objectives. They act as a subject matter expert, providing guidance to both prospective students and internal teams on best practices in recruitment, application processes, and admissions policies. In this role, the Senior Academic Coordinator takes on significant responsibility for managing complex recruitment programs, including the coordination of outreach efforts, communications, and engagement with prospective students. They collaborate with internal teams and departments to identify target populations, develop marketing strategies, and execute recruitment events, such as information sessions, campus tours, and virtual outreach programs. Additionally, they monitor and assess the effectiveness of recruitment strategies, making recommendations for adjustments based on data analysis and feedback from applicants and stakeholders. The position also includes ensuring that all recruitment initiatives are in compliance with university policies and best practices. The Senior Academic Coordinator also plays a leadership role within the Enrollment Services team, providing guidance and mentorship to junior staff while fostering a collaborative environment. They are expected to work independently with minimal supervision, taking ownership of their programs and initiatives while contributing to the broader enrollment strategy. As a senior team member, they provide input into the development of recruitment policies, strategies, and goals, collaborating with other units such as Admissions, Financial Aid, and Student Services. This position has a direct impact on the university’s ability to attract and retain students, making it integral to the institution's long-term success and growth.
