Position Summary

The Academic Coordinator within the Registrar’s office plays a key role in supporting the academic and administrative functions related to student registration, enrollment, and academic records. As part of the Registrar Services team, the coordinator assists with the management of student data, ensuring accurate and timely processing of student records, degree progress, and related inquiries. This role involves providing direct assistance to students, faculty, and staff regarding academic policies, procedures, and systems, ensuring an efficient and seamless experience for all parties involved in the registration and enrollment process. In this role, the Academic Coordinator works closely with other departments such as Enrollment Services and Financial Aid to support cross-functional efforts aimed at improving student services and ensuring compliance with university standards. The coordinator plays an important role in maintaining and updating student academic records, processing requests for transcripts, enrollment verification, and graduation audits. Additionally, the coordinator helps manage and troubleshoot the registrar system and software, ensuring that data integrity is maintained, and helping resolve any issues that arise during the registration or graduation process. The Academic Coordinator’s position requires a collaborative approach to problem-solving, as they may interact with various academic departments, students, and external stakeholders. The position also involves providing guidance and training to students on registration processes, degree requirements, and other academic services. While the role requires some autonomy in decision-making, the Academic Coordinator is expected to work closely with supervisors to ensure that all tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner. With a combination of experience and technical proficiency, the Academic Coordinator is an integral part of the Registrar’s office, supporting the smooth operation of student services within the academic administration.
