Student Services is responsible for the management and administration of work in multiple student services specialties, including but not limited to academic advising, career services, admissions, financial aid, student advocacy and support, health and wellness services, student engagement and development, learning support services, and housing and residential life.

A range of knowledge, complexity, autonomy, and impact may be needed to achieve results at certain levels. Individual contributor roles are reflected in the Academic Administration, Development, General Administration, Technical/STEM, and C1-C4 of the Clinical tracks.

Position Summary

The Associate General Coordinator within Student Services is an entry-level professional position responsible for supporting the operational functions of various student services programs. This role involves assisting in the coordination and administration of non-student-facing services, such as behind-the-scenes administrative tasks, data management, and project coordination. The Associate General Coordinator works under the direction of senior staff and helps ensure that services are efficient and effectively meet the needs of students and other stakeholders. In this capacity, the Associate General Coordinator helps to streamline processes, track outcomes, and maintain databases related to student services. They are involved in creating reports, preparing documentation, and assisting in the development and execution of departmental initiatives. While the position may require some interaction with students, the primary focus is on internal operations, such as supporting staff with administrative tasks, ensuring proper documentation is maintained, and helping manage communication channels within the department. The Associate General Coordinator is expected to contribute to team efforts by coordinating specific projects and initiatives, assisting with scheduling and workflow, and ensuring that goals are met within the established timeframes. As an individual contributor, this role requires limited experience but demands attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple responsibilities. The Associate General Coordinator is expected to work autonomously on assigned tasks, learn quickly, and be an integral part of the administrative team that supports the broader goals of Student Services.
