General Coordinator, Stewardship

Stewardship supports the stewardship program of the university. Develops, implements, and supports the internal policy and process for stewarding donors for life, ensuring funds are used for purposes designated by donors. Creates and participates in new and innovative ways to build meaningful relationships with donors.

Individual contributor roles are reflected in the Academic Administration, Development, General Administration, Technical/STEM, and C1-C4 of the Clinical tracks.

Position Summary

The General Coordinator in Stewardship plays a crucial role in supporting the university's stewardship program, helping to ensure that donor funds are properly managed and used in accordance with their designated purposes. This position assists in the development and implementation of internal policies and processes that foster long-term relationships with donors, helping to enhance their engagement and satisfaction. The Coordinator is involved in various stewardship activities, including tracking and acknowledging gifts, ensuring compliance with donor agreements, and supporting communications that express gratitude to donors. As an intermediate-level individual contributor, the General Coordinator works closely with other members of the stewardship team to execute strategies that strengthen donor loyalty and support the university’s fundraising efforts. While this role does not require independent decision-making, it involves coordination of key tasks and responsibilities within the stewardship function. The Coordinator will assist with data management, donor communications, and other activities that help maintain a positive relationship between the university and its donors, contributing to the overall success of the advancement program.
