Senior General Coordinator, Stewardship

Stewardship supports the stewardship program of the university. Develops, implements, and supports the internal policy and process for stewarding donors for life, ensuring funds are used for purposes designated by donors. Creates and participates in new and innovative ways to build meaningful relationships with donors.

Position Summary

The Senior General Coordinator in Stewardship plays a key role in advancing the university's stewardship program by ensuring that donor gifts are properly acknowledged and used in accordance with the designated purposes. This position involves managing complex donor relationships, providing personalized stewardship, and executing high-level stewardship strategies that enhance donor loyalty and engagement. The Senior Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the tracking, reporting, and acknowledgment of donations, ensuring that the university complies with both internal policies and donor expectations. As an experienced individual contributor, the Senior General Coordinator works independently to oversee stewardship processes while also collaborating with other departments to support university-wide fundraising goals. This role may involve mentoring or guiding junior staff and taking on more complex, high-impact tasks that require a deep understanding of stewardship practices. The Senior Coordinator helps develop and implement innovative approaches to steward donors effectively, ensuring a seamless and meaningful donor experience that promotes long-term philanthropic relationships. This position plays a vital part in the university’s advancement efforts by enhancing the connection between the institution and its donors through strategic stewardship initiatives.
