General Coordinator, Alumni/Student Engagement

Alumni/Student Engagement
Alumni/Student Engagement is responsible for the strategy, planning and execution of alumni events, volunteer activities and partnerships with alumni clubs and societies. Engages and supports alumni governance bodies including boards and councils. Develops, conducts, and promotes alumni programs and services to constituents including reunions, travel and tours, speakers, and general activities to enhance involvement opportunities across the alumni network.

Position Summary

The General Coordinator for Alumni/Student Engagement supports the university's alumni relations and student engagement efforts by assisting with the planning and execution of various events, volunteer initiatives, and partnerships with alumni organizations. This role involves coordinating alumni events such as reunions, speaker engagements, and travel tours, as well as helping to develop and promote programs that foster greater alumni involvement. Additionally, the coordinator works with alumni governance bodies, including boards and councils, to ensure a high level of engagement and participation in the university's initiatives. In this individual contributor role, the General Coordinator ensures the smooth operation of alumni and student engagement activities by managing logistics, communication, and event execution. The position requires effective organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate across various teams within the university. Although the General Coordinator is not expected to work independently, their contributions play a key role in enhancing the alumni experience and advancing the university’s broader goals related to alumni relations and student engagement.
