Senior General Coordinator, Alumni/Student Engagement

Alumni/Student Engagement
Alumni/Student Engagement is responsible for the strategy, planning and execution of alumni events, volunteer activities and partnerships with alumni clubs and societies. Engages and supports alumni governance bodies including boards and councils. Develops, conducts, and promotes alumni programs and services to constituents including reunions, travel and tours, speakers, and general activities to enhance involvement opportunities across the alumni network.

Position Summary

The Senior General Coordinator for Alumni/Student Engagement plays a critical role in advancing the university’s alumni relations strategy by independently managing and executing high-impact alumni and student engagement programs. This position involves overseeing the logistics, planning, and execution of major alumni events such as reunions, speaker engagements, and travel tours, while also fostering partnerships with alumni clubs, societies, and external organizations. The Senior Coordinator is also responsible for developing and promoting innovative programs to enhance alumni involvement, ensuring meaningful connections are maintained between the university and its alumni community. With a focus on autonomy and leadership, the Senior General Coordinator ensures the seamless coordination of multiple alumni engagement initiatives, working closely with university leadership and stakeholders to achieve program goals. This position requires a strong understanding of event planning, volunteer management, and alumni relations, as well as the ability to influence and lead teams or initiatives within the department. The Senior General Coordinator contributes to the long-term success of the university’s engagement efforts, while demonstrating expertise and initiative in driving the strategic planning and execution of alumni events and programs.
