Position Summary

The Analyst for Plant and Environmental Sciences plays a critical role in supporting research and operational activities within the department. This position involves gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data related to plant biology, soil science, ecology, and environmental studies to assist in the development of sustainable agricultural practices and environmental protection strategies. The Analyst works closely with researchers and staff to ensure data integrity and accuracy, contributing to the advancement of scientific projects aimed at improving agricultural efficiency and environmental sustainability. In this role, the Analyst is responsible for performing technical tasks such as data collection, statistical analysis, and report generation, as well as assisting with the preparation of research proposals and environmental assessments. They may support ongoing research by maintaining databases, ensuring compliance with research protocols, and aiding in the preparation of findings for publication or presentation. The Analyst works as part of a team, using their specialized knowledge to contribute to the success of various initiatives, while continuously building their expertise in the fields of plant and environmental sciences.
