Position Summary

The Associate Academic Coordinator for Athlete Engagement is an entry-level professional role focused on supporting the personal and academic development of student-athletes through engagement in community-building and service opportunities. The position contributes to the coordination and delivery of programs that foster student-athletes' holistic growth, helping them build connections both within and outside the university. By integrating service projects and engagement initiatives, the role ensures that student-athletes can balance their academic, athletic, and personal development goals effectively. This position involves working collaboratively with coaches, student-athletes, and university staff to design and implement engagement programs that promote leadership, teamwork, and community involvement. The Associate Academic Coordinator also assists in monitoring program outcomes, providing guidance to student-athletes, and ensuring that engagement activities align with the university’s values and goals. This role is pivotal in creating a supportive environment where student-athletes can thrive academically, socially, and as contributors to their communities.
