Position Summary

The Associate General Coordinator for Athlete Engagement plays an essential role in supporting the administrative functions of programs that foster student-athlete involvement in community and service-oriented initiatives. This entry-level professional assists in organizing, implementing, and tracking programs that connect student-athletes with meaningful engagement opportunities, emphasizing leadership development and social responsibility. Collaborating with team members and stakeholders, the coordinator ensures that activities align with the goals of the department and contribute positively to the student-athlete experience. In this role, the coordinator manages logistics, tracks participation, and compiles reports to evaluate program effectiveness. They work closely with colleagues to refine processes, develop new initiatives, and identify opportunities for improvement. With guidance, the Associate General Coordinator begins to build the skills necessary for greater autonomy and responsibility in program coordination, helping to advance the department's mission of creating impactful connections between student-athletes and their communities.
