Position Summary

The General Coordinator for Grant and Contract Management is an integral role within the university's Business Operations and Administration team, primarily responsible for coordinating the administration of legal and financial agreements related to grants and contracts. This position supports the development and implementation of strategies for managing grant and contract processes, ensuring compliance with university policies, funding agency regulations, and legal requirements. The General Coordinator will assist in tracking and maintaining records, preparing reports, and collaborating with various departments to facilitate the smooth execution of grant and contract agreements. In this intermediate-level position, the General Coordinator works as an individual contributor, leveraging their knowledge and experience to influence and review the work of others. The role requires a strong understanding of grant and contract management processes, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate multiple tasks across different functions. The General Coordinator will be expected to guide projects through various stages of the grant and contract lifecycle, helping to ensure that goals are met within established timelines and budgets. While the position is not expected to act independently, it requires collaboration with senior leadership and other departments to support the efficient and effective management of grant and contract activities across the university.
