The Senior General Coordinator for Post Award is responsible for overseeing the comprehensive management of post-award activities for grants and contracts, ensuring the efficient and compliant execution of financial and administrative processes. This includes award setup, account management, financial monitoring, modifications, project reporting, and billing. The senior coordinator plays a critical role in maintaining compliance with both funding agency guidelines and university policies, ensuring that all project deliverables are met in a timely and accurate manner. They also handle post-award reporting and assist with project close-out, ensuring that all documentation is properly completed. In this senior-level role, the coordinator works independently with minimal supervision, bringing substantial experience and expertise to the post-award process. The position may involve mentoring and guiding less experienced team members, ensuring that best practices are followed, and offering solutions to complex issues related to financial management or project execution. The senior coordinator will also serve as a point of contact for faculty and external stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and addressing any concerns related to post-award activities. This role requires a deep understanding of grant management, financial oversight, and project coordination, with an emphasis on leadership and operational excellence.
