Associate General Coordinator, Operations

Operations is responsible for cross-functional management and administration of an organizations resources, including but not limited to finance, processes and operations, human capital, facilities, equipment, systems, and communication. Conducts the daily operations of an organizational or academic unit, which may include budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling. Business operations professionals gather and analyze data to construct key performance indicators to monitor and improve performance and reinforce strategic decision making.

Position Summary

The Associate General Coordinator of Operations is an entry-level professional position that plays a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of university departments or units. This position is responsible for coordinating various aspects of operational functions, including finance, human capital, systems, and communication, to ensure that university-wide goals and objectives are met efficiently. The Associate Coordinator will assist in managing resources, tracking key performance indicators (KPIs), and providing administrative support to ensure smooth and effective operations. In this role, the Associate General Coordinator will collaborate with senior leaders and other operational teams to assist in the execution of strategic plans and projects. They will be involved in supporting budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and other data-driven initiatives that monitor and improve operational performance. The position also involves the collection and analysis of data to help inform decision-making and ensure alignment with broader organizational goals. The Associate General Coordinator is expected to work independently, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and ensure that operational processes are carried out efficiently. They will coordinate and collaborate with other teams, serving as a point of contact for operational concerns and supporting the operational leadership in implementing new initiatives or optimizing existing processes.
