Position Summary

The Technical Manager within Cloud Development is responsible for overseeing and managing a team of cloud development professionals, ensuring the successful design, implementation, and operation of cloud-based systems and solutions. This role involves leading efforts to adopt, integrate, and optimize cloud technologies across the organization, aligning cloud strategies with overall business goals. The Technical Manager is accountable for team performance, ensuring that cloud initiatives are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the required performance and security standards. The Technical Manager will guide the cloud development team through complex technical challenges, ensuring that best practices and standards are adhered to throughout the software development lifecycle. In addition to managing day-to-day operations, the manager is responsible for setting long-term goals, developing strategies for cloud adoption, and ensuring continuous improvement in cloud infrastructure management. They will mentor team members, provide career development opportunities, and foster a collaborative environment where innovative solutions to cloud-related problems can thrive. As a key leader within the cloud development team, the Technical Manager plays a critical role in the coordination between different departments, ensuring that cloud strategies and projects align with broader IT and organizational objectives. The manager also collaborates with senior leadership to define the cloud roadmap, prioritize projects, and evaluate new cloud technologies that could benefit the organization. With full responsibility for resource allocation, performance evaluation, and overall team productivity, the Technical Manager ensures that cloud solutions are scalable, secure, and integrated seamlessly into the existing IT landscape.
