Development and Operations is responsible for the combined practices of software development (Dev) and IT operations (Ops), managing the systems development life cycles, and providing continuous delivery of high-quality software applications.

Individual contributors may: Coordinate, influence, or review the work of others. Be the authority on a given program or process. Lead teams. A range of knowledge, complexity, autonomy, and impact may be needed to achieve results at certain levels. Individual contributor roles are reflected in the Academic Administration, Development, General Administration, Technical/STEM, and C1-C4 of the Clinical tracks.

Position Summary

The Analyst within Development and Operations plays a crucial role in supporting and optimizing the integration of software development (Dev) and IT operations (Ops). This position involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless delivery and continuous improvement of high-quality software applications. The Analyst will help manage the systems development lifecycle, identify areas for process improvement, and contribute to the implementation of new tools and technologies to enhance system performance and reliability. In this role, the Development and Operations Analyst will be responsible for gathering and analyzing data related to software applications and operational systems. They will assist in troubleshooting issues, optimizing workflows, and ensuring that both development and operational teams are aligned in their goals. This includes monitoring the health and performance of applications, gathering requirements, and supporting the deployment of software across various platforms while ensuring compliance with best practices for security and performance. As an individual contributor, the Analyst will work closely with senior team members to develop solutions that address technical challenges, improve system efficiency, and streamline processes. They will actively participate in the design, testing, and deployment phases of the software lifecycle while contributing to the documentation and analysis of system behaviors. This role requires a balance of technical skills and problem-solving abilities, as the Analyst will often be called upon to recommend improvements and implement changes that improve the overall functionality and performance of the development and operations systems.
