Development and Operations is responsible for the combined practices of software development (Dev) and IT operations (Ops), managing the systems development life cycles, and providing continuous delivery of high-quality software applications.

Individual contributor roles are reflected in the Academic Administration, Development, General Administration, Technical/STEM, and C1-C4 of the Clinical tracks.

Position Summary

The Senior Analyst within Development and Operations is responsible for managing and optimizing the integration of software development (Dev) and IT operations (Ops) to ensure the seamless delivery of high-quality software applications. In this role, the Senior Analyst will take on more complex challenges, collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance system performance, troubleshoot issues, and recommend improvements to the software development lifecycle. Their expertise will help improve the overall efficiency and reliability of systems by implementing and maintaining industry best practices in both development and operations. The Senior Analyst will oversee the continuous delivery of software and be a key player in identifying, analyzing, and resolving operational challenges. They will monitor system performance, troubleshoot incidents, and drive efforts to streamline operations through automation, monitoring, and proactive management. Their deep technical knowledge will enable them to support teams in the planning, development, and deployment phases of software, ensuring that all projects meet the organization's goals for performance, security, and scalability. As an individual contributor, the Senior Analyst will work independently while also providing guidance and mentorship to junior team members. They will be the subject matter expert on development and operations processes, leading by example and influencing best practices. The Senior Analyst will also play a key role in identifying new technologies and trends in the industry, helping to drive innovation and continuous improvement within the organization. Their autonomy in making decisions will be crucial in supporting and executing long-term operational strategies.
