Position Summary

The Business Intelligence Analyst plays a key role in gathering, analyzing, and interpreting complex data to drive insights that improve business performance. This position is responsible for collecting and aggregating data from multiple sources, synthesizing it into meaningful reports, and delivering actionable insights to various departments within the university. By leveraging business intelligence tools and techniques, the analyst supports data-driven decision-making, contributing to the overall efficiency and success of the university's operations. As an individual contributor, the Business Intelligence Analyst works closely with cross-functional teams to identify key performance indicators and establish metrics that align with organizational goals. The analyst is tasked with ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the data, using advanced analytics and data visualization techniques to present findings in a clear, understandable format. Additionally, the analyst collaborates with other IT and data management teams to maintain a secure and efficient data ecosystem, ensuring that the collected data adheres to relevant policies and regulations. With intermediate experience in business intelligence, this role requires a combination of technical proficiency and problem-solving skills. The analyst will work under the guidance of more senior team members but is expected to independently manage projects and contribute to the development of data-driven strategies. This position demands strong communication skills to effectively translate complex data into actionable insights for stakeholders across the university, ultimately supporting the institution's mission and operational success.
