Position Summary

A Technical Manager within Domain Architecture plays a crucial leadership role in shaping and guiding the technical direction of an organization’s enterprise architecture, with a specific focus on domain-level solutions. This position is responsible for overseeing a team of architects and engineers, ensuring that architecture solutions are designed and implemented in alignment with the broader strategic goals and standards of the enterprise. The Technical Manager leads the team in creating scalable, efficient, and sustainable architectures that support both current and future business needs, ensuring seamless integration across different systems and domains within the organization. In this managerial role, the Technical Manager within Domain Architecture is responsible for the daily oversight of their team, including task management, resource allocation, and performance monitoring. They ensure the team’s efforts align with the enterprise’s long-term goals, facilitating the design of architectural frameworks and technical solutions that address key business concerns and requirements. The manager plays a key role in driving the development of architectural standards and best practices, providing technical guidance and leadership to their team while maintaining a focus on both innovation and operational efficiency. They are also responsible for ensuring that architecture solutions comply with security, scalability, and performance standards. As a leader in the Domain Architecture team, the Technical Manager works closely with other departments, including IT operations, software development, and business units, to ensure that architectural solutions support the organization’s overall objectives. They are accountable for setting goals, monitoring progress, and executing strategies within their department, and they collaborate with senior leadership to continuously improve and evolve the organization's architecture. The role also includes mentoring and coaching team members, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement while ensuring that technical risks are mitigated and the team delivers high-quality solutions on time.
