Position Summary

A Technical Manager within Solutions Architecture is responsible for leading a team of architects and technical professionals in the design, development, and implementation of architecture solutions that align with the organization’s strategic goals. This role involves overseeing the development of scalable, secure, and efficient architecture initiatives to meet business needs and ensure seamless integration with existing systems. The Technical Manager ensures that the solutions delivered by the team are aligned with enterprise architecture standards, helping to transform business requirements into technical solutions that enhance overall organizational performance. In this managerial position, the Technical Manager has full responsibility for the team’s output and performance. They are accountable for setting clear goals, prioritizing tasks, and ensuring that architectural projects are completed on time, within scope, and in alignment with business objectives. The manager provides technical leadership and mentorship to their team, guiding them through complex solution designs, ensuring the adoption of best practices, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Additionally, they handle resource allocation, oversee the training and development of team members, and manage day-to-day activities to ensure that the team operates efficiently. The Technical Manager also plays a critical role in bridging the gap between senior leadership, other departments, and the Solutions Architecture team. They work to align technical solutions with business strategies, helping to shape and execute the organization’s technology roadmap. The manager is responsible for ensuring that the solutions delivered by the team not only meet immediate business needs but also support long-term growth and technological innovation. By combining strong technical expertise with leadership skills, the Technical Manager ensures that the team’s efforts contribute to the success of the organization’s overall IT strategy.
