Instructional Design analyzes, designs, develops, and implements online courses, web-based training, and face-to-face training curriculum. Analyzes learner needs and collaborates with subject matter experts and business management and provides input for course content.

Individual contributor roles are reflected in the Academic Administration, Development, General Administration, Technical/STEM, and C1-C4 of the Clinical tracks.

Position Summary

The Associate Analyst within Instructional Design plays a key role in supporting the design, development, and implementation of educational materials and learning experiences for the university community. This position works closely with subject matter experts, faculty, and instructional designers to ensure the creation of high-quality online courses, web-based training programs, and in-person curriculum. The Associate Analyst is responsible for gathering and analyzing learner needs, ensuring that instructional materials are developed in alignment with these needs while incorporating instructional design principles and current technological trends. In this role, the Associate Analyst assists with the development of educational technology solutions that enhance learning experiences across the institution. They help design and evaluate training programs and materials that integrate information systems and educational technologies, contributing to the adoption of innovative learning strategies. The analyst may also participate in the assessment and improvement of instructional content, providing feedback and recommendations based on learner outcomes and stakeholder input. Their work ensures that the instructional design process is smooth, effective, and responsive to evolving educational requirements. The Associate Analyst will be an individual contributor, primarily working on specific instructional design projects under the guidance of senior instructional designers or managers. They are expected to demonstrate a strong understanding of instructional technology, design best practices, and content development tools. This role offers an opportunity for professional growth in the field of instructional design, with responsibilities that include collaborating on course creation, testing new educational technologies, and contributing to the ongoing improvement of instructional strategies within the university’s learning environment.
