Position Summary

The Senior Analyst within Instructional Design is a key individual contributor responsible for overseeing the analysis, design, development, and implementation of high-quality online courses, web-based training, and in-person instructional materials. This role collaborates closely with subject matter experts, instructional designers, and business management to ensure that training programs meet both learner needs and organizational goals. The Senior Analyst acts as a subject matter expert, contributing to the design of educational content and leveraging advanced instructional design principles and emerging technologies to enhance the overall learning experience. In addition to developing instructional materials, the Senior Analyst evaluates the effectiveness of instructional programs through data analysis, learner assessments, and feedback. They utilize a range of technologies and methodologies to assess and improve the design, delivery, and engagement of instructional programs. By providing recommendations for continuous improvement, the Senior Analyst ensures that courses and training materials remain relevant and aligned with best practices. Their work helps maximize the impact of educational technologies and instructional strategies, fostering an engaging and effective learning environment for all stakeholders. The Senior Analyst operates with a high level of independence and is expected to provide leadership in instructional design projects, offering guidance to junior analysts and other team members when needed. The role requires expertise in both the theoretical and practical aspects of instructional design, enabling the Senior Analyst to take the lead on complex projects and deliver high-quality training solutions. While working in a collaborative team environment, the Senior Analyst has a significant degree of autonomy in managing their work and driving project outcomes, contributing to the success of instructional design initiatives across the institution.
