Position Summary

The Associate General Coordinator within Audit Services plays a key role in supporting the development, planning, and evaluation of internal audit programs that assess the financial, operational, and managerial processes and systems within the organization. This position is focused on ensuring compliance with applicable regulations, laws, policies, and standards while identifying potential risks and opportunities for improvement. As an individual contributor, the coordinator will actively support audit teams by gathering relevant data, assisting in the evaluation of systems, and contributing to the development of audit reports. In this role, the Associate General Coordinator will work closely with auditors and other professionals to help execute audit plans and support audits across various organizational functions. They will assist in documenting audit findings, tracking the progress of audit tasks, and ensuring that audit schedules are met. The coordinator will also be responsible for assisting with the maintenance of audit-related documentation and systems, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in the collection and reporting of audit information. Their work will contribute to a culture of accountability and continuous improvement in audit services across the organization. Additionally, the Associate General Coordinator will help implement processes and support internal efforts aimed at fostering compliance and integrity throughout the organization. The coordinator will assist in ensuring that the audit process adheres to legal and regulatory requirements, providing valuable insights for process improvements where necessary. Although the role is an individual contributor position, the coordinator may also assist in organizing meetings, coordinating with other departments, and ensuring the alignment of audit services with the broader goals of the organization.
