Represents the organization to government agencies, suppliers, and other stakeholders. Ensures the organization fosters a culture of compliance and integrity.

Individual contributor roles are reflected in the Academic Administration, Development, General Administration, Technical/STEM, and C1-C4 of the Clinical tracks.

Position Summary

The General Coordinator within Legal and Compliance plays a key role in supporting the legal and compliance functions of the organization. This position is primarily responsible for coordinating various compliance and legal processes, providing essential administrative support, and ensuring the university adheres to relevant laws, regulations, and policies. Working closely with senior legal and compliance staff, the coordinator assists in maintaining records, preparing documentation, and managing compliance audits. This individual ensures that compliance-related tasks are completed efficiently and in accordance with established guidelines. In this role, the General Coordinator collaborates with other departments to ensure the timely execution of compliance initiatives, including monitoring compliance activities, helping prepare reports, and tracking key deadlines. They provide support for investigations and legal processes, ensuring that all necessary materials are properly organized and readily accessible. By maintaining compliance documentation, such as contracts, reports, and regulatory filings, the coordinator helps ensure the smooth operation of legal and compliance activities within the organization. Additionally, the coordinator plays a role in liaising with government agencies and external stakeholders, facilitating communication and helping to address any compliance inquiries or issues that may arise. The General Coordinator within Legal and Compliance is an individual contributor position that requires a solid understanding of legal and compliance frameworks, as well as strong organizational and communication skills. Although not expected to work independently at a senior level, the coordinator contributes significantly to the efficiency and effectiveness of the department. With an intermediate level of experience, they help to support a culture of compliance and integrity within the organization by assisting with day-to-day compliance activities, providing timely information, and ensuring adherence to relevant regulations. The role is critical in ensuring that the legal and compliance function operates smoothly and meets its objectives.
